If you thought the ending was impressive to the other three books, wait until you read the ending of this final book in the series. This book is worth the wait because it sums up the previous three books, yet the unique plot is unmistakable.
The very old tale of Carmilla is that of a vampire who prays mostly on women at night. Her stories date back even further than those of Dracula, and the interesting part is that she is female, unlike most other famous vampires. Jewish folklore speaks of Lilith – a demonic creature that presents a threat to women and children, and that is active mostly at night. She may have been beautiful to look at, but there is nothing about her personality or actions that could be described as good.
